‘We encourage residents and other interested and affected stakeholders who work or do business in Strand to attend our public meeting.

‘This is an important face-to-face platform for the City to keep the community updated on water and sanitation issues and interventions that are of interest to the public, such as sewer-related issues and the reinstatement of roads.

‘This engagement is key because it brings the City and the community together to build a relationship that focuses on improving services in the area. The community will be able to share their concerns and ideas, and the City can share its plans and interventions where necessary. We look forward to seeing the public at the meeting and the fruitful engagement,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Water and Sanitation, Councillor Zahid Badroodien.
